~ Philosophy ~

The Nasson Community Center Child Care Program was developed to meet the needs
of the families in our community by offering child care that is designed to complement
both home and school by providing a safe, secure and enriching environment in which
children can grow socially, physically, emotionally, and academically.
Through supervised
activities, children can explore such areas as the arts, music, games, computers and sports.
A caring attitude towards home, school and friends is fostered at the Child Care Program
by providing time to discuss problems and giving attention to individuals as well as groups.

"Being a working parent is difficult, and finding dependable day care is just as challenging, especially once your child enters school. After recognizing the needs of working parents, I chose to take a leave of absence from my job at one of the local schools to pursue the idea of having an after care program. I started by offering before care and full day care on snowdays and school vacations. The idea took off, and word of mouth helped fill my facility."
